Domingos Rego
(Castelo Branco, 1965)
He lives and works in Azeitão and Lisbon. He holds a degree in Fine Arts/Painting (1994) from FBAUL, where he also completed his Master's in Painting (2006) and his Ph.D. in Fine Arts/Drawing (2013). Since 2002, he has been teaching Painting (until 2005) and Drawing (ongoing) at FBAUL.
Regularly exhibiting since 1993, his work in drawing, painting, and, more recently, publicly, photography, engages with references from art history, confronts the natural and the constructed, addresses time in the visual arts, and promotes reflection on the relationship between humans and the forces of nature.
